Animalcules — Privacy Policy

Short version: Animalcules collects nothing. It is a live wallpaper that runs entirely on your device. It has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no trackers, and it does not send your information anywhere.

Information we collect

None. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal or device information. The app does not ask you to sign in or create an account.

Settings stored on your device

Your preferences (chosen scene, density, which organisms appear, animation speed, battery mode, and so on) are saved locally on your device only, using Android's standard preferences storage. They never leave your phone and are removed if you uninstall the app.

Sensors

Animalcules reads the accelerometer so the scene can drift and parallax as you tilt your phone. This happens entirely on-device, in real time; the readings are used to move the animation and are never recorded, stored, or transmitted.

Network

The app makes no network calls of its own and contains no analytics or ad SDKs. Tapping “Send feedback” or a support link simply opens your own email or browser app — you choose whether to send anything.

Purchases

If an optional one-time “Pro” upgrade is offered, the purchase is processed by Google Play Billing. Google handles the payment under its own privacy policy; Animalcules only receives a confirmation that the purchase was made and stores an unlock flag locally. We never see or store your payment details.

Children

Animalcules is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date.
